Admiral Semmes Native Azalea is a sturdy upright native deciduous shrub with extremely fragrant clusters of large butter-yellow flowers that bloom in spring as new growth emerges.  The narrow glossy dark green leaves turn orange-bronze in fall. Best grown in part sun and rich, moist, acidic well-drained soils.
