The Teddy Bear® Magnolia, also known as Magnolia grandiflora 'Southern Charm' or 'Southern Charm Teddy Bear,' is a compact and dwarf variety of the Southern Magnolia.

  1. Appearance: The Teddy Bear® Magnolia is a small, evergreen tree that typically reaches a height of 15 to 20 feet (4.5 to 6 meters) with a spread of 10 to 15 feet (3 to 4.5 meters). It has a dense, rounded form with a compact growth habit.

  2. Flowers: This magnolia variety produces large, fragrant flowers that are creamy white and can measure up to 8 inches (20 centimeters) in diameter. The flowers typically bloom in late spring to early summer and continue sporadically throughout the summer months.

  3. Foliage: The leaves of the Teddy Bear® Magnolia are leathery, glossy, and elliptical-shaped. They are dark green on the upper surface and have a rusty brown or bronze color on the underside. The foliage provides a lush and attractive backdrop to the beautiful flowers.
