Straight and Narrow Japanese Holly is a tidy columnar evergreen shrub with an exceedingly narrow upright habit and small shiny dark green leaves that don't splay with age. Straight and Narrow is a male variety that can be used to pollinate other Hollies.  Best planted in moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Hollies are dioecious and need both male and female plants to produce fruit.
