Echo the Sun Hosta is a compact shade-loving herbaceous perennial primarily grown for its dramatic basal foliage. The rippled wedge shaped leaves are a chartreuse that flushes yellow where the sun hits.  The tall scapes of soft lavender bell-like flowers raise up above the mound in mid-summer attracting butterflies and pollinators.  Best color in part sun and moist well-drained soils.
