Digitalis 'Balroxose' ~ Arctic Fox Rose Foxglove

Arctic Fox Rose Foxglove is a compact long-blooming herbaceous perennial with basal mound of deep green leaves.  Strong tall spires packed with rose pink tubular flowers and softer pink throats dusted with peach rises above the foliage in spring and lasts all through summer.  Flowers best in part shade and rich, moist, well-drained acidic soils.  The leaves are highly toxic.  Arctic Fox Rose is noted for its ability to bloom every year.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Powdery mildew and rot can cause considerable damage if left unchecked.  Dense crowns may rot in poorly drained soils.  Watch for aphids, mealy bugs, slugs, and beetles.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Naturalized Areas, Wildlife Garden, Foundational Plantings, and Containers.
