Hardy Ice Plant gets its common name from its foliage’s appearance, which has transparent flakes that resemble ice on its fleshy leaves. Vibrant red-purple flowers bloom in late summer. Needs full sun and dry, sharply-drained soils. Heat and drought tolerant.
