Green Mountain Boxwood is a compact upright evergreen shrub with fine bright green leaves that may bronze in winter.  Small clusters of green-cram flowers bloom in spring.  Prefers part shade and well-drained soils, as it is prone to burning if planted in full sun Drought tolerant once established.  Green Mountain’s naturally cone-shaped habit makes it an excellent choice for topiary forms.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Some susceptibility to blight and leaf spots. Root rot can be a problem in poorly drained soils.  The main pests are leaf miners, psyllids and mites.  New growth is susceptible to winter damage.
