The Red Select Japanese Maple is a deciduous tree known for its finely dissected, lace-like leaves and its weeping growth habit.  The leaves are finely dissected, giving them a lace-like appearance. They are a deep red color in the spring and summer, turning a vibrant red in the fall. Prefers full sun in cooler climates, but needs afternoon shade in southern areas.
